Ali San Oolong
Details: Tea only came to Ali San in the last few decades. Before that the high mountains in Southern Taiwan were logged. Now these scenic mountains make great oolongs in the balled style of their neighbors in southern Fujian Province. Dry Leaves: Dark green rolled leaves. Liquor: Light gold. Aroma: Potent gardenia and lilac aromas with tops notes of crystallized sugar and fresh citrus. Flavors: Ali San is among the creamiest of oolongs. It gives a nice coating sensation and some butteriness along with lime citrus notes and a quiet, underlying vegetal flavor. Caffeine Level: Caffeinated Body: The body is medium with some creaminess.
